Bathroom renovations in Melbourne
Bathroom renovations in Melbourne and the south-east, built by an owner-operated, registered builder. You deal directly with Bobby from the first site visit to the final clean, with a fixed written quote and a carefully managed job in between.
Bathrooms built properly, from the ground up
Bozan Building Solutions specialises in bathroom renovations across Melbourne, from compact ensuites and family bathrooms to powder rooms and laundries. Every job is run by Bobby Bozan, a registered Domestic Builder (Unlimited) with more than 15 years of hands-on experience and a background in carpentry.
A bathroom has to work hard every day, so the parts you never see matter as much as the finishes you choose. We plan the layout, sequence the trades and check each stage before the next one starts, so your new bathroom looks good and stays sound for years.
A typical bathroom renovation with us can include:
- Full strip-out of the existing bathroom
- Layout changes to make better use of the space
- Waterproofing coordinated to the relevant Australian Standard
- Floor and wall tiling
- Vanities, mirrors and practical storage
- Shower and bath installation
- Plumbing and electrical work by licensed tradespeople
- Lighting and ventilation
- Finishing carpentry, from skirting to doors and trims
Planning more than one room? We also handle kitchen renovations and full home renovations and extensions.
Laundry renovations that work harder
A good laundry saves time every week. Our laundry renovations in Melbourne focus on practical layouts, durable surfaces and storage that suits the way your household runs.
Because laundries share many of the same trades as bathrooms, we approach them with the same care: waterproofing coordinated to the relevant Australian Standard, plumbing and electrical work by licensed tradespeople, and tiling and cabinetry finished neatly.
- New layouts, including relocating the laundry where practical
- Built-in cabinetry, benchtops and tall storage
- Space for your washer and dryer, stacked or side by side
- Tub, tapware and splashback installation
- Lighting and ventilation upgrades
If you’re also updating a bathroom, renovating both rooms together means the trades are on site once and the disruption is kept to a single stretch of work.
Why choose Bozan Building Solutions

What our clients say
Your renovation deserves more than to be treated as just another job. Choose a Melbourne builder who values clear communication, reliability and long-term results.
During my first consultation with Bobby, I discussed the job and my budget. He worked within my budget to design a brand new bathroom for me. He was also the only builder who spoke honestly and knowledgeably about today’s building standards, which I confirmed through my own research.
I recently had my bathroom renovated, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Bobby was professional, reliable, and paid great attention to detail throughout the entire project. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed to the highest standard. The process was smooth, and communication was excellent from start to finish. I highly recommend Bobby to anyone looking for top quality workmanship.
I hired Bobby for my kitchen and bathroom renovation, and he was fantastic from start to finish. His attention to detail was outstanding, and he made the entire process smooth and stress free. I’m thrilled with the results and highly recommend him!
Highly recommend Bobby and the team!
I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Bobby from Bozan Building Solutions. I needed some repairs done, and while other builders were making me wait until next year, Bobby went out of his way to fit me into his schedule much sooner than anyone else.
He completed all the repair work to a very high standard and even took the stress out of the next steps by completely organising the painting for me. Bobby was incredibly helpful, professional, and reliable throughout the entire process. If you want a builder who genuinely cares about their clients and delivers top-quality work, look no further!
Bozan Building Solutions did an awesome job for me, displayed professionalism and care throughout the job. Highly recommended!
We bought our first home this year and it was a complete fixer upper. Unfortunately neither me nor my husband had any clue how to even start with the renovation process. Our first meeting with Bobby was completely by chance when a kitchen designer told us we were working backwards and needed a builder first! Bobby arrived that day after the designer called him and was polite, professional and freely gave advice. This attitude was a constant throughout our whole experience with Bobby as he held our hand through a tricky renovation process and a tight budget.
If there’s one thing I can highlight from our time together it’s excellent communication. We have never had to wait more than a couple of hours for a response and he would always keep us in the loop about the timeline and the availability of the different trades.
The trades Bobby used were also professional and did an excellent job, but he also works with anyone you choose as well.
For our first renovation, we couldn’t be more impressed with how smoothly everything went. I’m an anxious person by nature and every worry I had Bobby was quick to respond and had an answer for it. We can’t recommend him and his team highly enough. We love our new kitchen and living area and we’re so grateful for the chance encounter all those months ago.
Bobby was a big part of our office renovation fit-out. His knowledge and expertise are truly invaluable. From start to finish, Bobby provided exceptional guidance, ensuring that every detail was meticulously planned and executed. His attention to detail, professionalism, and problem-solving skills helped make the entire process seamless and stress-free. We couldn’t be happier with the results, and we are grateful for Bobby’s contributions to making our office space both functional and stylish. Highly recommend!
I came across Bobby through a recommendation, and despite being based in Geelong, he was incredibly accommodating. He went above and beyond to bring my project to life, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend his work!
Bobby was really helpful. He was quick to respond, is priced great and his work was exceptional. Will definitely use him again for our next project. Thanks again Bobby and team.
I’ve had Bobby recently install 2 sets of privacy door handles at my new home. He was very prompt with his communication and efficient in the way he completed the job. A top bloke too! Would definitely recommend him.
Very reliable, completed job within time stated. Excellent workmanship. Will use again.

Bathroom renovation questions

How much does a bathroom renovation cost in Melbourne?
The cost of a bathroom renovation in Melbourne depends on the size of the room, whether the layout changes, the condition of the existing space and the fixtures and finishes you choose. Rather than give a figure that may not suit your home, we visit, talk through what you want and then provide a detailed fixed written quote, so you know exactly what is included before any work begins.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
It depends on the size and scope of the work, the layout and the fixtures and finishes you select. After the site visit, we give you a realistic timeline with your quote and keep you updated at every stage of the job.
Is waterproofing included?
Yes. Waterproofing is one of the most important parts of any bathroom or laundry renovation. We coordinate it as part of the job and make sure it meets the relevant Australian Standard before tiling begins.
Do I need a permit for a bathroom renovation?
It depends on the work involved, particularly if walls are being moved or structural changes are planned. We’ll advise whether your project needs a permit during the planning stage and help you through the process if it does.
Can I use my own tradespeople?
Yes. Bobby coordinates a team of trusted trades, and he is also happy to work with tradespeople you choose. Plumbing and electrical work is always carried out by licensed tradespeople.
Which suburbs do you service?
We work across Carrum Downs, Frankston, Seaford, Langwarrin, Chelsea, Edithvale, the Mornington Peninsula and the surrounding Melbourne suburbs. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, get in touch and we will confirm.
